We send our heartfelt condolences to the family of Frank Fisher and the Malone Callfiremen. He will be a huge loss.

It is with great sadness that the Malone Callfiremen share the passing of Past Chief Franklin Fisher — Malone Village Firefighter and a devoted 62 1/2 year member of our department.

Frank was the kind of man whose presence could change a room the moment he walked in. He had a smile that made you smile back, a kindness that made everyone feel welcome, and a genuine warmth that touched generations of firefighters and community members alike.

Frank wasn’t just a dedicated firefighter — he was a truly good man. Sweet, humble, and always ready with a friendly word, he represented the very best of what it means to serve others.

Frank’s impact on this department and our community will be felt for generations. We ask that you keep his family — especially his wife, Dawn, his children, and all who loved him — in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Chief. Thank you for everything, we’ll take it from here.

On Monday night members of the Owls Head- Mt. View fire departments as well as Duane and Malone were toned out for a structure fire with a close exposure. Upon arriving on scene a large garage was found to be fully involved and 15’ from the house. Bangor, Burke and Constable fire departments were also toned out for their tankers. Without their help, the outcome could have been alot worse.

From our family to yours, we wish everyone a safe and happy holidays!

Members will be handing out candy tonight at the station starting at 5:00 for all of the trick or treaters.

We want to thank Sugarloaf Cabins Bed and Breakfast for their generous donation after their music festival. Their continued support does not going unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

The support of the community and all of the local businesses is amazing. It ensures we have the most up to date equipment and supplies.

We can’t thank the community enough, yet again for their continued support. This past weekend we made $1271 in the boot and Camp 1390 donated another $500! With the continued generosity of all of the riders and the support of Camp 1390 we would be able to afford all of the emergency equipment we have purchased in the last couple of years.

Please ride safe and stay right.
