To celebrate this honor, Maine's libraries are partnering with Maine's state parks.
On September 20th, show your library card at most state parks in Maine and receive free admission from 9 AM to closing.
Don't have a library card? Get one today at your local library!
To find your nearest Maine State Park, go to www.parksandlands.com
Free admission does not apply to Acadia National Park, Allagash Wilderness Waterway, Baxter State Park, Maine Wildlife Park, Peacock Beach, Scarborough Beach, Swan Island, the Penobscot River Corridor, or the Penobscot Narrows Observatory. Admission to Fort Knox State Historic Site is included.
