The drawling for ballot positions for these races will be held Thursday, June 4,2026 at 2:00 PM.

Deadline to file is next Tuesday at 4:00!

The deadline to file for School Board if you reside within School Board District 2(Monterey and Gratz) and School Board District 5 (Wheatley, New Liberty and Bromley) is June 2nd, 2026 at 4:00 PM.

Also the deadline to file for City Council or Mayor for Owenton, Gratz and Sparta is also June 2nd, 2026 at 4:00 PM.

The Owen County Board of Elections will be conducting the state mandated hand to eye post election audit for the 2026 Primary Election tomorrow May 21, 2026 at 8:00 AM in the Owen County Clerk’s Office.

The Owen County Clerk’s Office will be opening at 1:00 PM tomorrow, May 20,2026 to allow staff time to sort and put away all Election equipment and supplies and to send in election reports. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

🇺🇸Last day to early vote is happening right now at the Clerk’s Office. If you’re going to be out of town Tuesday or if you just want to go ahead and beat the lines on Election Day be sure to stop by and vote. The girls will be there until 2:00. 🗳️

Early Voting has started for the Primary Election! Come by the County Clerk’s Office and cast your vote! Early voting will be held from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM today and tomorrow and Saturday from 6:00 AM-2:00 PM.
