Hi all! The Friends of the Fair has some shifts that need filled for fair week. This group has donated thousands of dollars to multiple projects on the fairgrounds over the last several years.....including the Sue Adams horse barn, Holman barn, the rabbit and poultry barn and the new pens for the goat barn overhang. All of these projects directly benefit our junior fair and all of our exhibitors and families. Their generosity to these projects and future projects is only possible through the funds they raise at the pork booth during the fair. Please consider getting a small group together to fill a shift or you can volunteer as an individual. Let's show them how much they are appreciated by getting them fully staffed for the week. Tag-in Trailer Entry Information 5/9
All sheep and goat trailers will enter 132 gate and pull completely through the Holman barn before unloading. All cattle will enter through the Locust Street gate.

REMINDER: This Saturday, May 9th from 8-10:00am all feeder cattle, breeding heifers, market goats, meat breeding does, market sheep and breeding ewes are REQUIRED at the fairgrounds for tag-in and/or weigh-in.🐃🐑🐐

Fair Entry will close at 11:59pm on Friday, May 8th. All animals must be registered by this deadline.

Fair Entry opens today through May 8th at 11:59pm for registration of horses, hogs, all goats, feeder beef, breeding heifers, fiber animals, sheep, dairy cattle, exhibition poultry and rabbits. Fair Entry is not linked to 4-H Online. Your Fair Entry account has a different password.

All hog exhibitors are required to enter a Premise ID. If you previously showed in Clermont County you have one. You can request a premise id at https://agri.ohio.gov/divisions/animal-health/animal-movement-identification/premise-registration-form-fillable.

All hogs are required to have an EID ear tag. JFB has provided them to your 4H club or FFA chapter. If your hog already has an EID tag, do not retag it. Please enter the tag number it has into your Fair Entry registration. It is unlawful to remove existing EID tags.

Again, this year Horses will be registering their horses and classes in Fair Entry. You will have to upload pictures of your horses. Any horse lease agreements will still need to go to the 4-H office. You can register up to two horses. Register your main horse for all the classes by “adding animal”. If you want to register a back-up horse, there is an option under Division titled “back-up horse”. Use this option to register a back-up horse.

All feeder cattle, breeding heifers, market goats, meat breeding does, market sheep and breeding ewes are REQUIRED to the fairgrounds on Saturday, May 9th at 8:00am for tag-in and/or weigh-in.

Hog EID tags are available for pick up in the 4-H Office. They are sorted by club. Please pick up for your whole club. Tags are $3 each.

The Junior Fairboard meeting scheduled for tomorrow evening is moved to next Wednesday, 2/25 at 7:00pm at the Fairgrounds!

Five members of our JFB officer team for this year attended the Ohio Fair Managers Conference this weekend in Columbus! They mingled with other JFB members from around the state, saw the 2026 Ohio Fair Queen be crowned, attended learning sessions and got to know each other a little better. We are looking forward to a great 2026 fair season! Thank you to the Masterson family for driving the crew and always helping!
