The City of Owensville will be transitioning to a new system including our online payment platform in October. The current online payment system will be disconnected for the month of October. To pay your water bill in October please consider the option of paying in person, by mail, or call your payment in. You can re-register on the new system starting November 1st. If you have any questions please call city hall at 573-713-2812 option 1.

We just want to remind our citizens of the change of trash service.

Next week, the week of Labor Day, all routes will run one day late. Please have your trash set out earlier than usual to ensure pick up.

The City of Owensville has adopted an ordinance for new building codes. The Independent Building Codes 2021 and the National Electric Code 2020 to go into effect Jan 1, 2027.

Attention Owensville city residents! The City has a new location for our compost site. Effective Monday August 24th you can use the new location at 611 N First Street. The old location on Marvin Avenue has been sold and closed down. Please use the new location and continue to follow the posted guidelines.
