🚨 Severe Weather Possible 🚨

We've got some severe weather heading our way, and it's important to stay prepared and stay safe! Here are some important tips to get you ready:

🔋 Storm Preparedness
* Charge your devices in advance and have flashlights ready.
* Stock up on essentials like water, non-perishable food, and medication.
* Communicate your plans with your family members.

⚡ Stay Away from Downed Power Lines
* Never approach or touch downed power lines - they can still be live and dangerous
* Report any downed lines by calling our office at 812-384-4446 or 9-1-1 for emergencies.

🌊 Avoid Flooded Areas
* Do NOT drive through flooded roads, no matter how shallow the water looks. It only takes a small amount of water to move your vehicle or hide dangerous hazards.
* Stay away from rivers, creeks, and streams as they can rise quickly.

We are requesting assistance from our community. Someone forcibly entered our Hendricksville station by prying open the door. Please notify us or the Greene County Sheriff’s Department if you have witnessed any suspicious activity in that area. The sheriff’s department is currently reviewing the station's camera footage.
