Sometimes, stability looks like the little things. 💙

A full fridge.
A reliable ride to work.
Knowing your bills are covered this month.

These everyday moments matter more than we think.

And for many, they’re not guaranteed.

When nonprofit leaders come together to learn, our entire community benefits.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to attend the Nonprofit Coalition of Owensboro's AI: Practical Skills for Nonprofit Leaders workshop and learn alongside incredible leaders from organizations across our region. We left inspired, equipped with new tools, and excited about how innovation can help us better serve our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Sara Hemingway and the The Marilyn & William Young Charitable Foundation for their generosity in making opportunities like this accessible to local nonprofits. Your support helps build stronger organizations, stronger leaders, and ultimately a stronger community.

We're also grateful to the Nonprofit Coalition of Owensboro, Owensboro Community & Technical College, and Dr. Ryan Hall for bringing together nonprofit professionals who are committed to learning, growing, and creating greater impact.

Together, we're building a stronger community through collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to service. 💙

What does a strong community look like? 💙

It looks like neighbors supporting each other.
It looks like families having what they need to succeed.
It looks like people showing up—again and again.

That’s the kind of community we’re building together.

United is the Way. 💙

Poverty isn’t just about money.

It’s about access.
Access to childcare.
Access to transportation.
Access to opportunity.

When access is limited, everything becomes harder.

That’s where real change begins.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of celebrating our 2025–2026 campaign and the incredible impact made possible through the generosity and commitment of our community partners.

This year, UWOV’s campaign increased by more than $90,000, a milestone that reflects the dedication of the companies and individuals who believe in creating lasting change. We were especially honored to recognize Boardwalk Pipelines with the Campaign Chairman’s Award for their outstanding leadership and impact on this year’s campaign.

Every company we partner with helps make our work possible. Their support allows us to invest in programs, strengthen community resources, and address the issues that matter most across our region.

Together, we are proving that United is the Way to create meaningful change. Thank you to all of our partners, supporters, and advocates who continue to help our community thrive.

A few other special thank you’s:

For many families, it’s not a long fall into hardship—

It’s one missed paycheck.
One car repair.
One medical bill.

That’s all it takes.

Poverty isn’t always far away.
Sometimes, it’s just one moment. 💙
