The Owensboro Fire Department is currently responding to a crash on the Wendell Ford Expressway (bypass).

Westbound lanes between Frederica Street and Carter Road are closed at this time. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while emergency crews work the scene.
