It’s Stawberry Day in Owego. Sun is shining and the parade is about to start (9:30). Look for Owego’s 1866 Amoskeag Steam Fire Engine leading the parade. Parade Grand Marshall Patrick Gavin. After the parade ends stop over to Central Fire Station and dunk a long list of volunteers

PayPal and Venmo's are starting to flow in - right now Patrick Gavin has the most pre-ordered dunks....lol. Keep them coming you can click the QR codes below or send PayPal to [email protected] or Venmo to put a name of who you want to dunk in the comment of the payment and we will make it happen and let them know who's its from.
One change in the schedule 2:30-3pm Nick Lorenz is out due to work commitment; so Steven Porter Steven Poter stepped up and filled his spot.

Drum Roll Please - The list of people who have volunteered to sit on the dunk tank seat (Huge Thank You). Now for the fun part -Can't make it to the Strawberry Festival? Well we are offering the ability to Dunk on your behalf. You don't need to be present – we accept PayPal and Venmo payments and will be glad to have someone dunk your choice of dunkee's on your behalf 😊 We will be sure they know who it's from....lol
PayPal Payments can be sent to [email protected] or Venmo payments can be sent to or you can use the QR code. Just let us know in the payment who's your choice to be dunked. We will be posting lot's of pics!

This Saturday during Strawberry Festival we will be doing a Dunk Tank in front of Central Station on North Ave (Dunkee's will be announced shortly) as well as a 50/50 raffle that will be drawn at the end of the festival. Looking forward to a fun and Strawberry full day. Thanks for all your support.

The OFA Senior Car Parade will be today Monday June 15th.
- Starts at 6pm from Apalachin Elementary
- Traveling down Rt 434 to Marshland Rd
- Back onto Rt 434 to Hiawatha Bridge
- Down 5th Ave/Front Street to Court Street
- On to Main St quick turn onto North Ave
-Down George Street up the OFA Driveway - ending at the school

Up Next is Strawberry Festival. Fireworks on Friday Night; Parade on Saturday (9:30am start time) - Our very own Patrick Gavin will serve as Parade Marshall and the Amoskeag 1866 Steamer will be in the parade. Make sure you come visit us at Central Station we will have trucks on display; as well as dunk tank that various community member's have volunteered to sit on the seat for 30 minutes - more info coming soon. We will also be selling 50/50 tickets with the drawing at the end of the Strawberry Festival. Thank you for your continued support of our ALL VOLUNTEER Fire Department.

OFD will be escorting 11 OFA Track and Field athletes as they leave town for Webster NY for state championship competition! We will be leaving OFA and escorting them to Interstate 86. Good luck at states!!! OA Schools
