I am retiring on June 30th of this year. It has been a wonderful 17 1/2 years serving
you. I appreciate so many people in my tenure here and in my life; and especially
the board of directors in 2009 that gave me a chance to work for and have made excellent decisions over the past 90 years, and there have been equally great directors and employees in the last 17 years.

Steele-Waseca Cooperative Electric's wholesale energy provider, Great River Energy, has made the following load management notifications for Wednesday, June 10. Steele-Waseca members on the Peak Shave Water Heating program will be controlled from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Steele-Waseca members on the Cycled AC program will be controlled from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Members on the Interruptible Irrigation program will be controlled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more detailed information, visit

The new substation in Medford is really about one thing - Making sure the community
has the power capacity it needs today and into the future.
