This morning we had the honor of gathering at Apple Barrel Owasso to celebrate Battalion Chief Shane Atwell and his incredible 25 years of service to the Owasso Fire Department.

It was a great morning of good food, laughs, and stories honoring a guy who has given a big part of his life to this city.

Thank you for 25 years of service, Chief. We’re proud to serve alongside you.

Last night, Owasso Firefighters Local 2789 proudly swore in 12 new members to our union.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the City of Owasso, OK - Gov for its continued commitment to increased staffing and investment in public safety. This commitment directly enhances the level of service we are able to provide and strengthens the safety of both our firefighters and the citizens we proudly serve.

We are honored to welcome these firefighters and look forward to standing shoulder to shoulder as we continue protecting and serving the Owasso community.
