Last week, a group of OPS administrators attended the annual Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration (CCOSA) Summer Leadership Conference in OKC. The conference brings together educational leaders from across the state to share strategies, collaborate on pressing public education issues, and participate in leadership training.
In addition to attending, OPS administrators were asked to lead two breakout sessions. Owasso High School principal Tiffani Cooper, assistant principal Danielle Petty & teacher Tabitha Stephens led a session on the Career Connections Internship Program at OHS, while Barnes Elementary principal Rylee Zaragoza & counselor Cassie Sory led a session on the District's therapy dog program.
Opportunities like CCOSA allow our leaders to bring back new ideas, strengthen their skills, and share the great work happening in Owasso Public Schools with educators from across Oklahoma.
