Just a little weekend humor…

Imagine calling for a load of dirt and getting this invoice:

Dirt Price: $275

Then…

➕ Fuel Surcharge
➕ Loader Appreciation Fee
➕ Dispatch Convenience Fee
➕ Equipment Wellness Fee
➕ Environmental Appreciation Fee

And when the driver arrives:

“Would you like to leave a 20% tip?”

😂

No shots at restaurants. I know every industry has its own challenges. It just got me thinking how funny it would sound if we handled dirt sales the same way.

Around here, we try to keep it simple:

A load of dirt is a load of dirt.

What other fees should we have added to the joke invoice?

Doing some fill and grading around this new home to the owners specifications.

After getting the D5g and the EC140b lc moved yesterday we got 12 lds. of dirt fill hauled and graded off plus 8 lds. already onsite plus other grading done and home about 7pm. Today 6 lds.of stone delivered ,3 to Ovid ,1 to Interlaken , 2 to a lake job in Canoga and then 6 lds. of dirt fill to T-burg , back to shop about 5pm.

Tank welded and strap built. All back together this morning.

No good deed goes unpunished, pressure washed a truck today and the fuel tank started leaking, so I got it all apart tonight and now I also have a tank strap to rebuild. Never a dull moment when you own trucks and equipment.

Started a repair project on this Cat D8H , first remove the blade and then start unbolting a prepping to replace the ball pivot and corresponding push arm end piece.
