Ovid Township is deeply saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of Ovid Middlebury Fire Department's own, Tyler Pease.

Tyler was tragically taken in a vehicle accident, leaving a tremendous void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Tyler was a devoted family member and friend whose kindness, humor, and big heart touched everyone around him.

The Fire Department is grieving alongside the Pease family. Ovid Township and our community send our thoughts and prayers as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

Ovid Township Residents:
It was brought to my attention today that there is a line in bold print on the bottom right of your summer tax bill that states,
"Total Winter Amt Due:". Please disregard this as winter taxes do not come out until December 1st of 2025. The amount shown is the summer 2025 tax amount due.
Please call 989 834 4831 or email me at [email protected] if you have questions.
I apologize for the confusion this may have caused.
Nancy Hughson, Ovid Township Treasurer
