The City of Overland and the City of St. Ann are excited to invite the community to the 2026 Fishing Derby on Saturday, Oct.10, from 9-11 a.m. 🎣

This annual event at Gendron Lake in Tiemeyer Park is FREE and open to children ages 3–16 and adults ages 62 and older.

Be sure to register early—the first 200 participants to pre-register will receive a free goody bag on the day of the event 🤩

⚠ Street Work and Temporary No-Parking Zones on Lackland Road Update ⚠

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, weather permitting, contractors will begin installation of surfacing on Lackland Road.

The street work will occur overnight between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. each day until the work is completed. The contractor estimates that the work will be complete by Saturday, Sept. 12, weather permitting.

During this period…

⚠ There will be Temporary No-Parking Zones along Lackland Road in defined areas, each day, to allow for the completion of the construction work.

⚠ Temporary No-Parking Signs will be posted within the defined area during the day, providing motorists the opportunity to make alternative parking arrangements.

⚠ Work in each of the defined areas should be completed by the end of each day.
