From Kay Porter: Meals on Wheels is needing one permanent Wednesday driver. Meals on Wheels provides frozen meals for the weekend when meals are not delivered daily. Start time is 10:30 and usually takes no more than 45 minutes to run
Currently Meals on Wheels is looking for a Wednesday full-time driver and substitutes when one of our driver's need off. Sometimes our drivers are the only contact the seniors have. Meals on Wheels provides frozen meals for the weekend when meals are not delivered daily. Start time is 10:30 and usually takes no more than 45 minutes to run. If interested, please contact me at 785-248-0139 or 785-521-4566. Thank you.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to your community and help our homebound seniors and check on their well-being. It's 45 minutes out of 1 day a week that is truly rewarding.

Multiple city crews, along with help from Franklin County, KS - Government Public Works have been working diligently to address the safety hazards in Highland Cemetery. We understand you want to check on your loved one’s resting place. Thank you for your patience as we clear the unsafe areas. We hope to have the area in a condition that would allow you to visit this weekend. We will keep you informed on our progress this afternoon. Thank you for your understanding.
