Increased fire danger today! Please reconsider any open burning.

Unseasonably warm, dry, and breezy conditions today will set the stage for an elevated danger for grass and brush fire spread. Use extra caution today, and remember: Don’t be that spark!

Have you set up your health profile on your phone?

Almost all mobile devices offer a feature such as a Medical ID or Health Profile for no extra cost. This is a great feature to help emergency responders in the event you can’t help us. You can even share it with the 911 dispatcher when you call helping responders treat you and your medical conditions more appropriately. Below you will find 2 links for Apple (IOS) and Android users to enable and set up your profile.

🤝 TRAINING TODAY TO PROTECT TOMORROW 🌲When the unexpected happens, teamwork saves lives. This weekend, search and rescue teams from McLean, Woodford, Tazewell, Peoria, and LaSalle Counties came together at Catlin Park for a joint training session! Missing person cases don't stop at county lines. That is why our regional teams are practicing search techniques, building trust, and sharpening skills side-by-side. By training together today, we ensure a faster, more seamless response when our communities need us most.Thank you to all the dedicated volunteers and professionals who invested their time today to keep Central Illinois safe!
