Our office has contacted the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Toledo District 2 to request an update regarding the Central/Exmoor traffic signal. The Village of Ottawa Hills is not responsible for the replacement of this signal. We are awaiting additional information from ODOT and hope to have an update to share soon. Thank you for your patience, we know that it is a busy intersection, please use extra precaution in that area.

WATER ADVISORY – AFFECTED RESIDENTS: EDGEVALE, CANTERBURY, RIDGEWOOD

Please be advised: If you receive a Water Advisory notice today, your property will be affected by the scheduled water work tomorrow, Friday, September 11, 2026.

Residents in the affected area should plan accordingly, as water service may be temporarily interrupted or water pressure may be reduced while the work is completed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as the Village completes this necessary work.

If you did not receive a Water Advisory notice, your property is not expected to be affected by this work.

🚧 Edgevale Road Project – Water Service Notice

As part of the Edgevale Road Reconstruction & Waterline Replacement Project, residents on Ridgewood will not have water service today due to the replacement of the service taps.

A 3-day boil advisory will be in effect. Please boil water before drinking or cooking until the advisory is lifted.

There will also be no water service on Friday as work continues.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while this important project is underway.

🚰 EDGEVALE ROAD WATER SERVICE UPDATE 🚰

Edgevale Road residents, a quick update on the ongoing water main project

Salenbien Trucking & Excavating will be connecting individual water services to the new water main. Homeowners will be notified by Salenbien when work is being performed at their property.

💧 During the connection, you may experience an intermittent loss of water service for approximately 30 minutes.

🛁 After your service is connected: Please run water from a bathtub or sink for approximately 5 minutes to help clear any debris that may have entered the line.

💨 You may also notice some air in your water lines during or shortly after the work. This is normal and should clear as the system returns to normal.
