🚒 Mutual Aid Response – Sandisfield
At approximately 22:45, Otis Fire & Rescue, along with Monterey Fire were dispatched to a residence in Sandisfield for an odor of gas and reported smoke condition.
Otis E221, R223, A221, Monterey 172, and Monterey 177 responded with crews.
Fire crews arriving on scene reported a heavy propane odor both inside and outside of the residence. E221 arrived and Otis Car 1 was given command while Sandisfield Ambulance evaluated and cared for one patient.
Crews secured the propane supply to the residence and began ventilation operations. Firefighters entered the residence with gas meters.
After ventilation was completed and the residence was determined to be safe, crews cleared the scene and returned to service at 00:07.
