The City of Othello would like to thank our utility customers for their patience and understanding as we work through unforeseen circumstances within the Utility Billing Department.

As a result, utility bills will be mailed a few days later than usual this month. Residents should expect to receive their utility bills later in the month than they normally do. However, please note that all billing periods, due dates, and shut-off dates will remain unchanged and have not been affected by this delay.

To help accommodate this situation, all late fees will be waived for this billing cycle.

Customers who would like to know their utility bill balance before receiving their bill in the mail may contact City Hall at (509) 488-5686 by Monday, June 1st, and staff will be happy to provide your current balance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause. We are committed to working with any customer who experiences difficulties as a result of the delayed mailing and encourage anyone with questions or concerns to contact us.

Thank you for your understanding.

Dear Little League Families,

As we begin preparations for the 2026 Little League All-Star season, we would like to share an important update for families interested in All-Star participation.

At this time, we currently ONLY have volunteer coaches for:

10U Baseball - 1 team (Little League ages 8, 9, 10)
12U Softball - 1 team (Little League ages 11, 12)
The district tournament for boys and girls will be hosted in Walla Walla.
District Dates: June 13th - 20th

Teams must become the District Champions to represent Othello LL in the State Tournament.

State Baseball: July 18th-25th
Location: Northshore Athletic, Woodinville, WA

State Softball: July 5th-11th (If double headers are approved, this could result in fewer days)
Location to be determined.

Without approved volunteer coaches for the remaining divisions, we will unfortunately be unable to form those All-Star teams for the 2026 season.
All-Star tryouts are scheduled for:
Thursday, May 28, 2026
Player Check-in will start at 4:00 PM
Drills will begin at 4:30 PM

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to all umpires, coaches, and volunteers who dedicated their time during the 2026 season to support our players and community. Little League, like many youth baseball and softball organizations, depends entirely on parents and volunteers who become coaches. These programs are made possible through the commitment and service of our families and community members.

Please also remember that All-Stars are considered an extended season operated by volunteer coaches, and all participation expenses, including travel and tournament-related costs, are the responsibility of each family.

The City of Othello Little League will assist families with gathering and organizing all required eligibility documentation for All-Star participation, including:

Birth certificates
School enrollment verification forms
Medical release forms
Tournament Affidavits
Thank you for your continued support of the City of Othello Little League and for helping us provide opportunities for our players both on and off the field.
