Today, September 11, we pause to remember and honor the lives that were lost on one of the darkest days in our nation’s history. We remember the innocent men, women, and children who never made it home. We remember the families who were left behind, and we remember those first responders who willingly ran toward the chaos.
We must never forget.
Never forget the lives lost. Never forget the courage we witnessed. And never forget the sense of unity, compassion, and strength that brought Americans together in the days that followed.
We give our deepest appreciation to the men and women of law enforcement, firefighters, emergency responders, and the United States military. Every day, they willingly accept the call and personal risk to protect our communities, defend our freedoms, and keep our nation safe. Their commitment often comes with sacrifices that most of us will never fully understand, we are grateful.
September 11, 2001. We remember. We honor. Above all, we will never forget.
