Many thanks to our club member, Greg Kahler, for replacing our tired and worn out old eyeglass collection box with a bright and freshened up one! Please feel free to drop off old eyeglasses (no cheaters or cases) in our new mailbox, behind the Northern Optics office at 357 West First Street in Oswego! There is also a white and purple drop box at the Walmart Vision Center, just as you enter the store! Thank you!

The Oswego Lions Club was proud to present this year’s “H” and Mary Dowd Scholarship to OHS Senior, Brodie Wood. The $2,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating Senior who will attend a New York State college. Brodie will be attending Keuka College, majoring in Childhood/Special Education. Pictured presenting to Brodie is Scholarship Chairperson Becky O’Kane. Congratulations Brodie!

Join us next Tuesday, May 5th for our Guest Chef Dinner!

This will be our 111th dinner we have hosted and are excited to have Springside at Seneca Hill providing the meal! They will be serving Chicken & Biscuits, Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans!

Doors open at 4:30pm and we serve until 6:00pm or when we sell out, whichever comes first! Each dinner costs $15.

Overwhelmed by spring cleaning? The library can help!

The Oswego Public Library will be hosting a book recycling event from April 27 to May 5. Books should be clean, dry, and free of debris.

Please separate paperbacks and hardcovers into different bags or boxes.
