Ready to level up your workout? Dive into Aqua Cycle at the Ossining Aquatic Center! It’s high-energy, refreshing, and the most fun you’ll have in a pool this season.

3 Reasons to Try It:
1️⃣Easy on the Joints: Get a high-intensity cardio session with zero impact, thanks to the water’s buoyancy.
2️⃣Total Body Tone: Water provides constant resistance, making every pedal stroke more effective than on a land-based bike.
3️⃣Stay Cool: Torch calories without the overheat—the pool keeps you comfortable while you push your limits.

We have some "tree-mendous" news to share! Our beautiful holiday tree from this past season has officially been moved to its permanent residence at Nelson Park.

After spending the winter bringing us so much joy, it’s finally put down some roots. We like to think it’s finally home—trading in the tinsel for some fresh soil and open skies. 🏠✨

So, when you see our Market Square tree this winter, you can enjoy the glow knowing it has a long, happy life ahead of it in the park once the season is over.

Last year, we saw firsthand how quickly areas in Ossining can flood, leaving drivers stranded. Today, we are better prepared than ever.

The Ossining Fire Department was recently at the Ossining Aquatic Center training with a new 380 MIL-HD Rescue Water Vessel. This critical piece of equipment was purchased through a generous 2025 grant from Stayin’ Alive, Inc.!

The 380 MIL-HD is specifically designed for high-stakes evacuations and rescues in quick-rising water and smaller bodies of water. Whether it's a flash flood on the roadway or a neighborhood emergency, this vessel allows our team to reach people trapped in vehicles and homes more safely and efficiently than ever before.

By investing in this specialized tech, we are significantly reducing the risk for both the public and our fire personnel during extreme weather events.

Thank you to for their continued support of Northern Westchester first responders and to the for their dedicated training!

Don't forget! 🌳 Join us today at 1:30 PM at Nelson Sitting Park for our Arbor Day tree planting. We are planting a native Elm—our modern "Freedom Tree"—to commemorate 250 years of resilience and growth. This living monument will also help our community combat urban heat for years to come. See you there!

Happy Earth Day! 🌎✨Today is a powerful reminder that while our planet is vast, the most impactful changes often start right here in our own backyard. We all play a role in keeping our shared environment beautiful—remember to always practice sustainable habits. Every small act of care, from picking up a stray wrapper to choosing a reusable mug or planting a native flower, helps keep our community vibrant and healthy. If you're looking for a way to celebrate that community spirit and appreciate the view of the Hudson, you don't have to look far!
