Now Accepting Applications for Little Mr. & Little Miss Ossian 2026!

Do you know a young Ossian resident who loves their community and would enjoy representing our town during Ossian Fest?

Applications are now open for Little Mr. & Little Miss Ossian 2026!

📍 Must have an Ossian address
🎂 Ages 8–11 (as of August 8th, 2026)
🗓 Required interviews: Sunday, August 2nd 2026
📅 Applications due: July 15th 2026

Selected royalty will:
⭐ Represent Ossian during Ossian Fest
⭐ Ride in the Grand Parade
⭐ Help celebrate our community throughout the festival

Applications can be returned to Makayla Dehli at [email protected] or mailed to PO Box 153, Ossian, IA.

We can’t wait to see this year’s candidates!

Summer is here and so are pool days! The swim bus will transport kids to the Calmar Pool, weather pending, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays this summer starting June 9 through August 14. The bus will leave Carey's Park at 1pm and leave the pool to return at 4pm. Any cancellations or early returns will be posted on Facebook.
