🏡 NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS — NEIGHBORLINK

The Town of Ossian would like to share a community resource that may be helpful to our residents: NeighborLink.

NeighborLink connects individuals who have a need with local volunteers who are willing to lend a hand. Sometimes a small project can be difficult for a resident to complete on their own — and sometimes all it takes is a willing neighbor to make a big difference. ❤️

🔨 Examples of needs may include:
• Minor home maintenance
• Outdoor or yard work
• Small repairs
• Handrails and other household projects
• Everyday needs where a helping hand can make a difference

Residents can submit a request, and nearby volunteers can choose projects they are able to assist with. NeighborLink helps make the connection and coordinate the project.

NeighborLink has been serving communities for 25 years, connecting thousands of neighbors and volunteers across the country.

📢 Archbold Wilson Pavilion & Event Center Reservation Reminder:

To help us process reservations efficiently, please review the following before submitting your rental application.

✅ Your application must include:
• Complete mailing address (street, city, state & ZIP code)
• Valid phone number
• Valid email address
• Requested rental date
• Rental start and end times

📌 Please remember:
• Submitting an application does not guarantee your reservation.
• Reservations are processed on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis.
• Payment is due within 24 hours of submitting your application.
• You are responsible for contacting Town Hall to verify availability and confirm your reservation.
• Reservations are not official until payment has been received, processed, and confirmed by the Town of Ossian.
• Your reserved rental time includes both setup and cleanup.
• The facility must be completely vacated by your scheduled ending time.
• Remaining at the facility beyond your reserved rental time or failing to follow the rental agreement may result in all or a portion of your security deposit being withheld.

Providing complete and accurate information helps us process your reservation quickly and keeps dates available for everyone.

We were honored to join the Town of Ossian, Indiana, Trusted Manufacturing, and the Wells County Chamber of Commerce County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the groundbreaking of Trusted Manufacturing's new 44,100-square-foot expansion.

We're grateful to partner with Trusted Manufacturing on this exciting project and appreciate the Town of Ossian's continued trust in Briner Building over the years.

🚛 Residential Bulk Clean-Up 🧹

The City of Ossian Residential Bulk Spring Clean-Up will take place on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Please review the attached Clean-Up Guidelines before placing items at the curb. Certain items will not be accepted, including hazardous waste, automotive parts, construction debris, yard waste, liquids, Freon-containing appliances, medical waste, explosives or flammable materials, and commercial or contractor-generated waste.

🛏️ Mattress Policy: Mattresses and box springs must be fully wrapped and sealed in plastic to be collected. Unwrapped mattresses will not be picked up.
