💗 Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a reminder that early detection can save lives.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), breast cancer is the among most common cancer among American women.

Mammograms can help find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat.

This week, take one action: ✅ Talk with your health care provider about when you should begin regular mammograms. ✅ Encourage a friend or loved one to do the same. ✅ Put your next screening on your calendar.

Small steps today can make a big difference tomorrow. Together, we can support prevention, early detection, and hope for everyone affected by breast cancer in our community.

🎨 Meet the artist behind one of our winning You Matter Mail postcard designs!

Congratulations to Kyla Morris, whose beautiful artwork was selected as a winning design in our You Matter Mail postcard contest! Kyla is a multi-medium artist whose creative work spans ink drawing, watercolor, crochet, mixed media, and more.

Her winning hand-drawn illustration captures the dandelion through its stages of life, from budding growth to full bloom and finally to seeds carried by the wind. The dandelion serves as a powerful symbol of resilience, transformation, release, and hope, offering a gentle reminder that healing is not always a straight path and that there is beauty in every stage.

Kyla believes creativity is a practice of becoming and that the process matters just as much as the finished piece. She is also the co-creator of Flaky Hobbyist, a creative brand she built alongside her mom, Joy.

We’re so excited to see Kyla’s artwork become part of You Matter Mail and share its message of hope with our community. 💌
