We are proud to announce that Lt. Jesse Jensen graduated today from the 12th Class of the Wisconsin Command College. The Wisconsin Command College is a collaboration between the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the University of Wisconsin – Certified Public Manager Program. During this rigorous six-week program over the course of several months, students interacted with their peers as well as studied the comprehensive curriculum, which is designed to enhance their command and management abilities.

This rigorous and highly sought after leadership program requires multiple individual projects over the course of the year, along with a class project.

We congratulate Lt. Jensen on his amazing personal accomplishment! We are all so proud of you Jesse!

Very part-time job opening!

The Winnebago County Jail is seeking a State of Wisconsin licensed Cosmetologist/Barber for inmates in the jail. Commitment would be 4 - 8 hours once a month to cut hair and provide beard/mustache trims. Pay is $20.00 per haircut and $5.00 per beard/mustache trim.

In addition to being licensed in Wisconsin, the person must successfully pass a background check. All inquires can be directed to Lt. Johnson via email at [email protected] before 06/26/26 at 4PM.

Edited to add -- the inmates are paying for this optional service themselves...we simply facilitate the process and honor the requests of inmates to provide a person do to this.
