We’re proud to be part of a community coming together to make sure students have access to the essentials they need, not just at the start of the school year, but throughout the year. 💙

Through the new Care Closet partnership, OACP and other organizations are working together to help make essential items more accessible to students across the Oshkosh Area School District.

This is what can happen when we share resources, build on the systems already in place, and work together toward a common goal: removing barriers so students can focus on learning and reaching their full potential.

We’re grateful to be part of this collaborative effort and excited to see how it continues to grow. Together, we’re building more than Care Closets, we’re building stronger connections and a stronger community for students.

💚What happens when a community asks, “What more can we do?”

A conversation that began around the Oshkosh Back 2 School Fair has grown into something designed to support students all year long.

With support from the Haliburton Family Foundation and months of collaboration among local partners, a new approach to Care Closets is taking shape across the Oshkosh Area School District—creating a more coordinated, sustainable way to connect students with essential supplies when they need them.

It’s about more than stocking shelves. It’s about listening to what students need, building on resources already in our community, and finding a better way to work together.

We are stronger together!

Through collaboration with funders, our community, and partners like Bee the Good - Oshkosh, we’re working together to help make sure students have snacks when they need them most, because something as simple as a snack can make a meaningful difference in a child’s day.

We believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn without worrying about when they’ll get their next meal, and as we head into another year of our School Pantry Program, we are stronger than ever through meaningful collaboration!

Together, we’re nourishing more than students, we’re supporting our schools, and helping us build a stronger, healthier community.

Events like this don’t happen without an incredible community behind them. A HUGE thank you to all of our attendees, volunteers, organizers, local businesses, and community partners who helped make it possible. Your support means more than you know!
