Hey Winneconne, can you come out and play??

I’ll be in your neighborhood this Sunday the 20th, door knocking with Emily Tseffos and Jason Rippl. Check in at the Winnebago Democratic Office as early as 9am if you want to canvas with us!

But. BUT! Afterwards, we’re hanging out at Lake Winneconne Park at 498 Parkway Dr for donuts and apple cider and I want to talk about ✨PUBLIC EDUCATION✨ please!

We’ll be at the park from 4-6p so stop by, bring the kids, grab a donut and come talk to me.

Fully committed to the bit this Labor Day.

Hmong Labor Day Celebration, a car show, a parade, an egg toss with my kid that got competitive kind of fast, face painting and glitter. So much glitter. All the glitter.

Wisconsin shows up for itself and it shows up in a lot of different ways. Every community, every celebration, every excuse to be together. That’s what we want. That’s what we do.

Also, my kid did not actually get arrested.

This is the thing that keeps coming up at the door.

People aren’t against progress. They’re against feeling like decisions about their land, their community, their kids’ futures, are being made for them.

I’m not reflexively pro solar because of a party line. I’m pro Wisconsin having the conversation ourselves. With neighbors, farmers, families, before outside business interests decide what our landscape looks like for the future.

Met Ed Buchanan this week and honestly just feel better about everything.

Ed spent his life working, at OshKosh B’Gosh, in OTR trucking, decades of showing up. Now in his retirement, he is turning animal feed bags into something useful again because that’s just who he is. His wife is just as wonderful.

This is the 55th.
This is who I’m running for.
This amazing community and the people who make it.
