☀️ A Place Full of Summer Memories 💙
Before cell phones, tablets, and video games filled our days, summers in our community meant bikes in the yard, bare feet in the grass, and long afternoons spent at the Clear-Centre Swimming Pool.
Today, our community is once again coming together to help keep this special place open for future generations.
Built around 1971, the pool wasn’t created by a company or large investors. It was built through the hard work, generosity, and determination of local families and volunteers who believed our community’s children deserved a place to laugh, swim, and make lifelong summer memories.
For many of us, the Clear-Centre Pool is where we learned to swim, where friendships were formed, and where some of our favorite childhood memories were made.
Today, the pool is still here because of that same community spirit.
One person who has dedicated many of his summers to keeping the pool going is Brett Albert. From daily upkeep to making sure everything is ready for families and kids to enjoy, he has poured countless hours of hard work and heart into caring for this place.
And before Brett, there were certainly others who stepped up as well — people who quietly gave their time so the rest of us could enjoy this special place.
