09/11/2026
Today marks 25 years since the events of September 11, 2001; an unforgettable day that changed our nation forever.
We pause to honor and remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families who continue to carry their memory, and the countless first responders who ran toward danger with courage that still inspires us. In the face of unimaginable tragedy, our country found strength. Communities came together, strangers supported one another, and a profound resilience emerged that continues to define us.
September 11–13, 2026, the Global War on Terror Memorial Traveling Wall will be on display at Hy‑Vee. This free exhibit honors the lives lost and helps us reflect on the sacrifice, service, and unity that emerged in the wake of 9/11. We invite everyone to visit and take a moment to remember, learn, and honor those who served and those who never made it home.
As we reflect today, we honor the lives taken, we recognize the heroes, and we celebrate the unity that carried us through. May we continue to uphold that spirit of compassion, service, and togetherness ❤️🤍💙 today and every day.
