Recently, we hosted the 10 for 10 Boxing Gym from Philadelphia, PA. Their visit to the camp was filled with inspiration and shared passion for the sport and Muhammad Ali.

At Fighter’s Heaven, the mission is to welcome youth groups to experience the rich history of Muhammad Ali. We aim to share the inspiring legacy of ‘The Greatest’ and show how his life continues to influence and educate future generations.

At Fighter’s Heaven, the camp’s mission is to educate our youth about the life and legacy of Muhammad Ali. Every visitor steps into a living chapter of Ali’s life. Through tours, stories, and the very grounds he trained on, we honor Muhammad and ensure his message continues to inspire the next generation. On Saturday, June 6th, we’ll commemorate the 10th anniversary of Muhammad’s passing with a special celebration at his Deer Lake Training Camp. Organized by “Iceman” John Scully, the day will feature appearances from past boxing champions, including two-time heavyweight champion Tim Witherspoon.

Expected attendees will enjoy an informal gathering and social event, complete with a cookout and a fire in the evening. Don’t forget to register if you plan on attending. It’s shaping up to be a great day starting at 2:00pm.

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting a Vietnam War veteran from Florida, who was in the area visiting family, along with his devoted service dog, Sergeant Bailey. Their time at the camp made for a truly memorable visit!

At the Deer Lake training camp, whether you were a reporter, a fan, or just a curious visitor, you didn’t meet a distant legend—you met a man who welcomed you right into his world. Ali was as accessible as he was charismatic.

The stories of those who have visited Fighter’s Heaven since the restoration are living proof. Each person left with a memory that’ll last forever! Muhammad didn’t just train; he made sure everyone left feeling like they were part of something special.
