It's that time of the year. Things have been really tough for me financially. When my father passed away in November, my mother lost access to the RetPayee account that allowed her access to the Social Security check that I get every month and without access to that money, I'm not able to get $100 of that money, and because of that, I am really struggling to meet ends meet with my biweekly paycheck. Especially when it comes to paying off my credit card debt.

My mother has filed all the right things with SS, but you know how things are with the red tape.

So I need about $2600 to pay off my entire debt, but if can only get half of that, I would be able to get by. If you can't pay any money, I would appreciate it if you could share this and not just leave a like and walk away.

I would greatly appreciate it.

I know I really shouldn’t be doing this, but between my dad’s death cutting me off from my monthly SS check and me having to miss two days of work due to flooding and a big credit card bill I could really use some extra help this Christmas. I’m not asking for someone to pay off my entire credit card debt ($2,500 if anyone is curious), but something other than a like on this post would be nice.

CW for: talking about the imminent death of a parent.

So this is something that is kinda of personal. I won't go into any details, but for the past half a decade, my father's health has been slowly deteriorating, and now it looks like he might not even last before the year ends.

Despite some of the circumstances of his life, including stuff that he probably should've done differently (He didn't have sufficient bone-spurs to get out of Vietnam, which probably would've made him live another decade to be perfectly honest.), he did try his best to raise me right and while I'm not going to mention some of the stuff that he could've handled better, he still was there even if I may have taken him for granted and said some things that may have been right even if I was out of line.

I am not going to use this situation to beg for donations and I probably still won’t when he’s officially passed away, but if someone insists on giving me something for my troubles, just let me know, and then we can work something out.

So that's all I can say on the matter for now. I might type up something more substantial later on tonight if nothing goes wrong. So for now, I'll see y'all later.
