Tribal Citizens who are 21 years or older and interesting in running may request a Notice of Intent by contacting the Tribal Office. A background check is required.

All Notices of Intent must be submitted by August 28, 2026 at 4:00pm.

May 5th is recognized as the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous People. On this day, many people wear red to honor Indigenous relatives who are missing or have been taken by violence. Raising awareness can take many forms, by showing visible support, speaking out, attending community events, and taking time to educate yourself and others about this ongoing crisis.

Redbud is excited to announce our newest film, Wings of the Feather River; Memory & Renewal in Maidu Country.

The film follows a storytelling journey led by Maidu community members as they explore the cultural, environmental, and historical significance of the Feather River and reflect on the impacts of the Oroville Dam on the land and communities connected to it.

Through conversations with community leaders, reflections on place, and shared learning experiences, participants examine how the river continues to shape identity, responsibility, and community relationships.
