Bodie is located approximately 15 miles by stagecoach heading north of Wauconda along Toroda Creek. Bodie was established as a mining camp about 1900. At one time it had a store, post office, cookhouse, bunkhouse, and hotel.

Our November Board Meeting and Annual Membership meeting will be November 14, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Due to our unresolved heating issues, we will be meeting in the basement at the Oroville Assembly of God Church - 623 Central Ave. West side of the Church, and north end of that side, there are the concrete steps to go down.

This area is in the Okanogan Highlands which means we have already gone through the Rocky Mountain section, the Purcell Mountains, the Selkirks and the Kettle River Range.

🎉 Time to celebrate with our hiker trash extended Tramily.

🍩 Grinna, Sheriff, Switz, Rocky and The Dutchies all converged on Oroville about the same time. We rolled around town eating at taco trucks, resupplying, thrifting, raiding grocery stores, devouring doughnuts, swimming, taking baths, drinking drinks, waiting for shoes and enjoying this little trail town that welcomed us in from the wilderness.
