Teamwork makes the dream work.

We had some great volunteers show up this morning from Northeast-Paving (pictured), A.M. Smart construction LLC and Mike Rideout. We made a huge impact—removing overhead lights, displays, and side marker lights, and getting everything packed up and ready for next season.

We found humor in realizing it took 82 days to put it up, and only a couple of days to take it down, when all is said and done. The rest of the displays and overhead lights will come down as the weather permits. Proud of this crew and the work we got done. 💪

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE 🥳

Tonight is the LAST night of the lights for the season. To celebrate the New Year (and the end of a pretty magical 2025 season) we will be leaving the lights on until shortly after midnight.

It’s a pretty magical way to ring in the new year, if you ask us. 😌

💡 LIGHTS ARE ON TONIGHT 12/30 💡

Tonight and tomorrow are the last two nights to catch the lights! While tonight is the regular 4-9pm schedule, tomorrow the lights will be on until midnight to celebrate our last night of the season and the NEW YEAR! 🥳

As shown in this photo, there is a lot of sitting water in the woods. It is imperative that you stay on the lit trail and not venture into the woods. Water + electricity do not mix well. ⚡️

We have made the difficult decision to close the trail tonight due to the continued messy weather throughout the evening.

Our plan at this time is to be open the remaining two nights of the year:

12/30: 4-9pm
12/31: 4-12 midnight 🎉

Lights are on nightly (yes, even tonight) from 4-9pm, thru 12/31.

Please note that while the trail is open tonight, we have not cleared the freshly fallen snow. We hope that you can understand, as we chose to spend time together as a family. We hope you enjoy this most picturesque walk and may you also find yourself spending time with those most precious to you. ❤️

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas 🎶

❄️ Dream no more. Our wishes have come true and the trail is beautifully blanketed in Christmas snow. The lights will be extra magical for our visitors tonight. The lights will be on 4-9pm.

Please me mindful that while we will have made a slight pathway, the ground is likely to still be covered and/or packed down with snow. We advise ditching the cute holiday shoes for a nice pair of winter boots for the trek tonight 🙃

And, as a reminder, please stay off the river. The ice is not safe. 🚫 🧊

Last Sunday before Christmas ✨

If you’re looking for a little relief from the hustle/bustle of cooking, cleaning, wrapping, shopping (we know some of you still are), wrangling kids, holiday parties, and all the other things come visit the lights tonight from 4-9pm. It’s officially the last Sunday before Christmas.

Let us take care of the magic tonight before you resume normal holiday activities tomorrow. 😊
