Congratulations Commander Young. It is quite an accomplishment. We appreciate Rockin' 4 Heroes for their support and investment in our public safety personnel.

Congratulations to Cmdr. Zachary Young of the Oro Valley Police Dept., a recipient of a grant from the Rockn’ 4 Heroes Law Enforcement Support Fund, who recently earned his bachelor’s degree. Our goal is to provide financial aid to officers undertaking continuing education and training while serving our communities.

We are halfway through Water Safety Month but just starting the hot weather. As you start opening up your pools, please remember the ABC's of water safety.
A=Active Adult supervision
B=Barriers (fences, gates or other means to prevent accidental falls into the water)
C= Classes, those that will be around water need to know how to swim.
