We have been seeing an increase of vehicles on the multi-use paths that should not be there. One of the types we have seen is golf carts. The flyer provides some info on where and when golf carts can be on multi-use paths (spoiler alert) They cannot except in a few locations where posted.

Traffic collision: Southbound Oracle is closed at El Conquistador due to a collision. Please seek alternate routes. There is an additional crash at Mountain Vista and Oracle.

Hey Oro Valley Residents!

In case you hadn’t heard, Oro Valley officially purchased the building at 13101 N. Oracle Rd. back in August 2025, and it’s set to become the future home of the Oro Valley Police headquarters. The project is still in the early stages, but current work is focused on building maintenance, including HVAC and roofing updates, as plans continue to take shape. It’s a big step toward giving OVPD the space it needs to better serve our community for years to come.

The Oro Valley Police Department is going live today with a new program. Versaterm CommunityConnect™, an automated messaging platform designed to improve communication with community members and crime victims.
The system will provide text and email notifications to individuals who interact with the department, helping keep them informed throughout the law enforcement process.
Versaterm CommunityConnect™ includes three primary functions:
• Patrol Notifications – Provides acknowledgment messages, helpful resources, and notifications regarding response delays when applicable.
• Investigation Updates – Keeps crime victims informed about the status of their case and significant investigative updates after a police report has been submitted.
• Community Feedback – Allows community members to provide feedback through brief, mobile-friendly surveys following interactions with department personnel.
The implementation of Versaterm CommunityConnect™ supports the department's commitment to improving communication, increasing transparency, and enhancing service to the Oro Valley community.
