Congratulations to Crystal resident Shannon Borton on being named a 2026 Michigan Community Action Volunteer of the Year.

Through her service with EightCAP's Montcalm CASA program, Shannon has spent more than seven years advocating for children involved in abuse and neglect cases, providing the consistent support and encouragement every child deserves.
