EightCAP, Inc., a private non-profit corporation, was established as a Community Action Agency in 1966, serving the mid Michigan counties of Gratiot, Ionia, Isabella, and Montcalm. As a community-based agency, EightCAP has extensive program and administrative experience to ensure efficient and effective programs. EightCAP would like to give a huge shoutout to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Volunteers James Hohler and Janet Wulf-Marvin, who took matters into their own hands when a family was in need of a snowblower.

The CASA family was having a hard time keeping their long driveway clear, and physical limitations made shoveling difficult. James and Janet found a great deal on a used snowblower, so they picked up and delivered the machine to the family. Now, the kids in the home can get to school and doctor appointments, even when heavy snow hits.

We are thankful for all the ways CASA volunteers work together to help families when they see a need. 🌨
