Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses. FAVOB is a tax exempt 501 c(6) corporation.

The purpose for the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses, Inc. (FAVOB) is to promote and unite the many established and start-up businesses that are owned by Veterans and Disabled Veterans throughout the State of Florida, and to increase awareness of the organization at the city, county, state and federal levels. FAVOB is a Florida Corporation, Non-Profit 501c (6) Organization for the b

enefit of Veteran Business Owners in an effort to give Veterans the same opportunities as other disadvantaged groups with respect to selection for work, for bidding opportunities, and for project
contract awards. It is the intent of FAVOB to help grow these Veteran businesses, as well as support and endorse employing Veterans as
they return from active and reserve duty to join the civilian workforce. FAVOB is actively seeking members throughout the State of Florida to join and help change the way business is being handled to the betterment of the veteran.

Some organizations are connected by more than membership. They’re connected by mission.

Camaraderie Foundation is more than a FAVOB member. They are our sister organization, connected through shared roots, strong relationships, and a commitment to serving veterans.

Our organizations share a founder, **Michael Waldrop**, who co-founded Camaraderie Foundation to help active-duty service members, veterans, and their families heal from the invisible wounds of war through no-cost mental health counseling and support.

On September 19, Camaraderie Foundation will host its signature fundraising event, the 2026 American Patriot Gala.

This important evening helps fuel the work they do all year long for military members, veterans, and their families.

Your FAVOB membership has more value when you use it.

Joining the network is the first step. The real value comes from participating in it.

A few ways to put your membership to work:

🤝 Show up. Attend a chapter event and meet someone new.
🔎 Be visible. Make sure your business information and member profile are current.
💬 Start conversations. Introduce yourself to members you haven’t met yet.
📣 Share your expertise. Look for opportunities to participate, educate, collaborate, or support another member.

You don’t have to do everything at once.
