FAVOB Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses. FAVOB is a tax exempt 501 c(6) corporation.

The purpose for the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses, Inc. (FAVOB) is to promote and unite the many established and start-up businesses that are owned by Veterans and Disabled Veterans throughout the State of Florida, and to increase awareness of the organization at the city, county, state and federal levels. FAVOB is a Florida Corporation, Non-Profit 501c (6) Organization for the benefit of Veteran Business Owners in an effort to give Veterans the same opportunities as other disadvantaged groups with respect to selection for work, for bidding opportunities, and for project
contract awards. It is the intent of FAVOB to help grow these Veteran businesses, as well as support and endorse employing Veterans as
they return from active and reserve duty to join the civilian workforce. FAVOB is actively seeking members throughout the State of Florida to join and help change the way business is being handled to the betterment of the veteran.

Service has been part of Tim Anderson’s story from the beginning.

A U.S. Army veteran who served during Operation Desert Storm, Tim went on to build a long career in healthcare and today serves patients as a Physician Assistant with My HealthMatrix, helping people take a more proactive, personalized approach to health and wellness.

Through its Orlando/Lake Mary location, My HealthMatrix focuses on areas including hormone optimization, preventive and functional medicine, wellness, nutrition, and lifestyle support—all with the goal of helping people improve their health, vitality, and quality of life.

Money After Dark — What a Fantastic Evening for FAVOB!

What an incredible turnout last night in Altamonte Springs!

The Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses (FAVOB) was proud to partner with Regions Bank for another successful Money After Dark networking event, bringing together veteran entrepreneurs, business leaders, community partners, and supporters who believe in the power of connection and collaboration.

A huge THANK YOU to Regions Bank, especially Branch Manager Eddy and his amazing team, for their hospitality, partnership, and continued support of our veteran-owned business community!

It was wonderful to have Agnes Fray, representing FAVOB’s State Board leadership, alongside Marisol Salgado García from our Orlando Growth Hub leadership, helping strengthen relationships and welcome new faces into our growing network.

We were also excited to welcome our new members from Alpha Sports Performance! We look forward to seeing your business grow and thrive within the FAVOB community.

A very special thank you to Joey Cote, Veterans Service Officer (VSO) for Seminole County, for joining us and for the important work you do in support of our veterans!

The turnout was fantastic, but what made the evening truly special was the sense of community.

Be in the right rooms with FAVOB!

Last week, FAVOB Vice Chair Agnes Fray and FAVOB Governmental Affairs Chair Chris Costa represented the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses at Governor Ron DeSantis’ news conference at FDOT.

For FAVOB, being present matters. Building relationships matters. And making sure Florida’s veteran-owned business community has a presence in important conversations across our state matters.

But FAVOB is only as strong as our members.

We want YOU involved!

Take five minutes this week and look at your profile through someone else’s eyes:
