A night that no one will ever forget. We are grateful for all who were part of the rescue efforts. Grateful for those who raced in without hesitation to save as many as possible. Grateful for the ones who tended to the losses and their families.

We remember this day as a lesson to not let hate win. We remember those that were lost and today, we mourn with their families and friends. Say their names, share their stories and honor their memory.

Ten years ago, Orlando was rocked by the mass shooting at Pulse. Our community vowed that we would not let hate win. We remember those 49 beautiful souls. And we will never forget.

🍨You scream, I scream, we ALL scream for ICE CREAM! 🍦

Nothing says EMS Week quite like cooling down with some sweet treats after turning up the heat for our community every day. We invited Mr. Freeze Ice Cream Trucks to stop by to help provide ice cream for the crews.

Huge thanks to our incredible AMR Orlando crews for all that you do! Look at all of the happy faces who came to grab a scoop (or two...we won't tell who. 😉)

EMS Week 2026 - Day 3 at AMR Orlando 💙🚑

The ice cream gods have spoken, the raffle tickets have been drawn, and two lucky winners are about to have the coolest kitchens in town.

In honor of today’s EMS Week Ice Cream Day celebration, we raffled off two Ninja Creami Deluxe machines so our winners can continue living their best frozen-dessert lives long after EMS Week comes to an end.

Please join us in congratulating both of them on their sweet victory. We fully expect some top-tier homemade ice cream creations moving forward... no pressure, but the leadership team does accept samples for quality assurance purposes.

🚚 We will see all of you starting at 1700 when the Ice Cream Truck rolls in!

Happy Day 2 of EMS Week AMR Orlando! 💙🚑🩺

The force was strong today as we pulled our first EMS Week drawing winners, and we are excited to announce that our champions of chance are:

🌞 Day Shift Winner: William Connell
🌙 Night Shift Winner: Winston Williams

Both William and Winston have won an Echo Dot with the Star Wars TIE Fighter stand in celebration of the upcoming release of The Mandalorian & Grogu, hitting theaters this Friday, May 22nd.

Apparently, this was the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in today’s drawing and stopped by our Smoothie Bar. Nothing says EMS Week quite like good smoothies, great company, and a chance to win some galactic level prizes.

What a great way to kick off this special week. Thank you to everyone who stuck around and joined us for breakfast this morning. Seeing crews come together, share some laughs, and take a moment to connect reminds us exactly what this week is all about celebrating the incredible work you do every single day.

As we roll into the rest of the week, make sure you stop by and pick up your scavenger hunt sheets if you haven’t already. Get out there, have some fun, and start working your way toward those prizes.

And get ready… tomorrow our EMS Challenge Competition officially begins. This is your chance to show off your knowledge, teamwork, and competitive spirit. Bring your energy, bring your game face, and most importantly, enjoy it.

🚑💙 Happy EMS Week, everyone! 💙🚑

On Friday, May 15, we had the absolute privilege of being part of an award ceremony honoring two of our very own: Paramedic Jay Woida and EMT Anthony Gaglianese 🏆👏

These two gentlemen have earned their place on our Tomorrow Wall, but more importantly, they’ve become part of a beautiful memory for a patient and family who were given the greatest gift anyone can receive: more tomorrows.

Jay and Anthony were a critical part of the chain of survival for a patient who has now been discharged without neurological deficits. Let that sink in for a moment.

That’s not luck. That’s not chance. That’s what happens when preparation meets purpose.

Their quick action, staying calm under pressure, and commitment to delivering the right care at the right time is a shining example of what hard work, relentless training, and a whole lot of experience can produce.

“Doing the right thing is never the wrong thing.”

And fellas, yesterday proved exactly that.

As we kick off EMS Week, we celebrate moments like this because they remind us why this work matters. Behind every call is a person, a family, and sometimes a story that gets a second chapter because of what you do.

Last Wednesday, our AMR Orlando and Air Evac Lifeteam Texas and Missouri teams worked together in support of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Artemis II mission, which will carry astronauts to the moon and back. We were proud to support this historic event, helping to ensure a safe and successful operation.
