Officer Selection Team Orlando

Officer Selection Team Orlando This page is for the USMC Officer Selection Station, Central Florida. Interested in being a Marine Officer? Contact us at 321-436-0517 or 407-407-1972

If you have questions about becoming a Marine Officer, your best resource for information is an Officer Selection Team (OST). Your Officer Selection Officer (OSO) knows what it is like to serve as an officer in the USMC and understands the desire of those individuals interested in a career that offers a sense of purpose and an opportunity to positively impact the lives of others. Your OSO has the

experience and the insight to answer all of your questions and help you decide which commissioning program best suits your goals for advancement. Once you have made the commitment to become an officer, your OST will guide your physical training regimen and prepare you for the challenge of becoming a Marine Officer. After meeting with an OST, if it is determined you have the basic foundation required for becoming a Marine Officer and qualify for OCS, your challenge has only just begun. Some have what it takes, others do not; the only thing that is certain is that you are going to be challenged mentally, physically and academically. If you succeed, you will be more than a leader, you will belong to an elite group of warriors known as the few and the proud—the United States Marines.

Yesterday, we lost a devoted father, husband, brother, and Marine.
MSgt Raymond L. Putnam III (Ret) stood the watch for over 40 years. 25 years on active duty, retiring as a Master Sergeant, followed by 20 years of continued service as a civilian HRA with Marine Corps Recruiting Command.
His service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to this nation will never be forgotten.
Rest in eternal peace, Marine. We have the watch. Semper Fidelis.

February wasn’t slow. It was mission focused. We stepped onto 4 different college campuses from Orlando to Daytona and down in Melbourne looking for Leaders. Not just students. Young men and women ready to challenge themselves, raise their standard, and pursue something greater than average. We’re incredibly proud of the strong turnout from every school. Proof that the desire to lead and serve is alive and well in this generation. We also hit the trail for an OST ORLANDO hike to build endurance, sharpening grit, and strengthening the bond that defines the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS. Leaders are tested and transformed through the crucible of challenge. NOT comfort. If you’re driven competitive and ready to earn your place. The opportunity is here. The question is: are you?
