Today, we remember the 49 lives lost and the many others forever impacted by the Pulse nightclub tragedy on June 12, 2016.

As we honor their memory, we reflect on the strength, resilience, and unity that emerged in the face of unimaginable loss. We stand with the survivors, families, loved ones, and the LGBTQ+ community, remembering those we lost and reaffirming our commitment to compassion, inclusion, and respect for all.

May we never forget the lives taken, the heroes who responded, and the community that came together in support and healing.

April 2026 produced another record-breaking month for Tourist Development Tax collections. This was the highest April on record and extends our record-breaking streak to 13 consecutive months of year over year growth. April 2026 collections were $37,724,000, an increase of 13.9% over April 2025.
