📣 Emergency Heat Response: We Need Your Help! ☀️💧

Orlando is under a heat advisory, and the soaring temperatures are especially dangerous for our unhoused neighbors. At Framily Support Network, we’re taking action—distributing water, cooling supplies, hygiene kits, and other essentials directly to those living on the streets.

We’ve created an Amazon Wish List filled with urgently needed items, and we’re asking our community to help pitch in. Whether it’s a bottle of sunscreen or a cooling towel, every single item makes a difference.

Through Project Safety Net, the Framily Support Network (FSN) successfully supported 23 individuals in Central Florida, providing $21,777.10 to secure and maintain housing stability. In Orange County, FSN transitioned two families from homelessness into permanent housing and prevented eviction for three additional families. In Osceola County, one family was moved from homelessness to secure housing, and another family was protected from eviction.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida for the opportunity to participate in this vital initiative. Thanks to HSN's partnership and the dedicated efforts of our small FSN team of two, 23 Floridians can now rest easier, assured of a safe place to call home.
