Our halls were filled with smiles, memories, and a few tears as students and staff took one final Memory Walk as McCoy Jets. 💙✈️

For generations, these hallways have been home to learning, laughter, friendships, and countless unforgettable moments. As we walked together one last time, we celebrated the legacy of McCoy and the incredible community that made it so special.

For the final time, we gathered together as one McCoy family.

As we close this chapter and prepare to begin new journeys at new schools, we carry with us so much more than memories. We will never forget the relationships we nurtured, the successes we celebrated, the challenges we overcame, and the family we built together along the way.

Within these walls, friendships were formed, dreams were encouraged, laughter filled the halls, and countless lives were touched. McCoy was more than a school-it was home. The impact of this special place will remain in our hearts forever. Today and always, we are McCoy.

Thank you to every student, family, staff member, and community partner who made McCoy Elementary such a remarkable place to learn, grow, and belong. The school may be ending, but the bonds we created and the legacy we leave behind will last a lifetime.

Schools out forever. 💙✈️

Today, we heard the final bell ring and ran the final dismissal at McCoy Elementary. After years filled with laughter, learning, friendships, milestones, traditions, and unforgettable memories, we closed our doors for the very last time.

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for every student, family, staff member, and community supporter who made McCoy such a special place to call home. To our Jets — thank you for allowing us to be part of your story. Watching generations of students grow within these walls has been one of life’s greatest gifts.

While the doors of McCoy Elementary may now be closed, our arms and hearts will forever remain open for our Jets. Once a Jet, always a Jet. 💙✈️

What a fantastic 5th Grade Friday! 🎉 Our fifth graders put their teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance to the test during an exciting Amazing Race around campus. After all the fun and friendly competition, students enjoyed a special McDonald’s lunch with friends before cooling off with a sweet Kona Ice treat. 🍔🍧

Our McCoy Jet Pioneers celebrated the culmination of their elementary years today — a journey that began in Kindergarten and carried them all the way through 5th grade together at McCoy. ❤️

From designing pioneer wagons and making homemade butter to squeezing fresh lemonade, the day was filled with hands-on fun, laughter, and memories they’ll carry forever. One of the most touching moments was watching students visit their favorite teachers with heartfelt letters of gratitude, reflecting on the relationships and experiences that shaped their elementary years.

Such a special day honoring this incredible group of students and the lifelong memories made at McCoy. ✈️ #

One of our most favorite days of the year was filled with smiles, cheers, hugs, and so many memories as we welcomed back our McCoy Jets Senior Class of 2026 for Senior Walk today. 💙✈️

This tradition felt especially poignant as this is the very last group of seniors to walk these halls before McCoy closes its doors forever. Watching these former Jets return “home” reminded us that while buildings may close, the memories, friendships, and impact of McCoy will live on forever in the hearts of every student and staff member who walked these halls.

Our seniors visited former teachers, enjoyed one more elementary school lunch in the cafeteria, walked the halls that helped shape them, and even had one final recess together. There were tears, laughter, and so much pride seeing how far they’ve come.
