SALT Outreach Inc. Our hours are 9am to 4pm on Sunday and 9am to 5pm Monday through Thursday for both outreach services and case management services.

Our mission is to share Christ’s love by serving the unsheltered through comprehensive mobile outreach centers that meet basic needs, catalyze permanent housing solutions, and empower self-sufficiency.

Did you know that nonprofits see their slowest fundraising months during the summer?

Through our annual Summer SALT Fundraiser, you help us to bridge this time with your generosity!

This fundraiser runs from June 1st through August 31st and this years goal is $550,000! (All gifts received from individuals, corporations, and foundations during that time frame counts toward the goal!)

Something else that’s exciting about this summer ☀️ an anonymous donor has agreed to match the first $200,000 contributed to this fundraiser!!

In April, you helped SALT to serve a little more than 1,000 different people in Central and Mid-Florida, with over 20,000 services and resources 🚿

With shelters full, we need to do everything we can to not just help our unsheltered guests survive, but to also give them a chance to thrive.

One thing we have been searching for in Kissimmee is partners to do food!

Well, our Sundays and Fridays are now both covered! 🎊

Fridays have been covered by Pastor Chris Duckworth and his Presbyterian Church. And now, AdvenHealth Kissimmee is covering meals on our Sundays!

They did their first delivery this past Sunday (pictured below). Thank you AdventHealth Kissimmee for stepping in and filling this gap for our unhoused neighbors in Kissimmee!

Our hearts are devastated by the tragic shooting that took place at the Islamic Center of San Diego this week. We are praying for every child, family, and community member affected by this heartbreaking act of violence.

This hit close to home for us, our San Diego SALT Director, Pastor London, was at his church next door when the shooting occurred. As law enforcement and federal agents responded, the church became a safe place for families and children seeking shelter during the chaos. The church also became the command center for law enforcement and federal agents

In the hours that followed, many people were required to remain outside while the scene was secured and individuals were accounted for. During that time, we were grateful to be able to activate our mobile shower and bathroom trailer so families had access to a restroom and one less thing to worry about in the midst of such a traumatic moment.

Today, we mourn with the community, stand with those affected, and are continuing to pray for healing, peace, and comfort for everyone impacted 🙏🏽
