NCS Nation: At the National Center For Simulation (NCS), we continue to see firsthand that the future of our nation’s security, innovation, and economic competitiveness will depend on how well we prepare the next generation workforce in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). As the Modeling, Simulation, and Training (MS&T) community rapidly evolves to meet the growing demands in cyber operations, space systems, autonomous platforms, drones, artificial intelligence, and advanced wargaming, the need for a highly skilled and adaptable workforce has never been more important.
This is exactly why NCS places such a strong emphasis on education and workforce development. Through our STEM camps, immersive learning experiences, scholarships, robotics, cyber initiatives, and partnerships across academia, industry, and government, we are helping students build the skills needed to thrive in these critical mission areas.
We are especially proud of our interns and counselors, many of whom started with us as students and now serve as mentors and role models for the next generation. They are not only learning technical skills — they are developing leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and a passion for innovation that will strengthen Team Orlando and the entire MS&T ecosystem for years to come.
As cyber threats evolve, space becomes increasingly contested, drones redefine the battlefield, and wargaming becomes essential to preparing for tomorrow’s challenges, investing in STEM is no longer optional — it is a national imperative. At NCS, we remain committed to promoting, protecting, and growing this workforce pipeline to ensure the Central Florida MS&T community continues to lead the way.
