The Assistance Fund (TAF) is an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs by providing financial assistance for their copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and other health-related expenses. We currently manage over 100 disease programs, each of which covers all FDA-approved treatment for the disease named in the

program. Since 2009, TAF has helped over 260,000 people access critical treatment for life-changing diseases.

Last month, TAF was honored to be named one of the largest Central Florida nonprofits by the Orlando Business Journal.

This recognition wouldn't be possible without the generosity of our donors, the trust of the patients and caregivers we serve, and the dedication of our team. Thank you to everyone who believes in our mission and helps make it possible for patients to access the treatment they need.

When Elise first learned about TAF in 2024, she described feeling supported from the very beginning, with a team that was responsive and kind.

And when she learned she was approved for our Multiple Sclerosis Copay Assistance Program, Elise was thrilled and relieved. The financial stress she was carrying is now gone.

June marks National PTSD Awareness Month, a time to increase understanding of post-traumatic stress disorder and the impact it can have on individuals, families, and communities.

Here at The Assistance Fund (TAF), we are committed to supporting patients beyond financial assistance by helping connect them with trusted mental health resources. For people seeking help and guidance, we proudly highlight resources and education from Mental Health America, National Center for PTSD - U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and National Institute of Mental Health.

“TAF really brought me a peace of mind.”

Marge has always found comfort in stories. She never starts her day without her Kindle and a warm cup of coffee. When she received her idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) diagnosis, though, the uncertainty made even the smallest routines feel difficult.

With the help of our Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Copay Assistance Program, Marge says she feels confident managing her treatment and staying connected to her family, no matter the miles between them.
