Valencia College Library invites you to join in our celebration of zero-cost and Open Educational Resources (OER) at Open Education Week from Monday, March 6 through Friday, March 10!
๐Ÿ“š
The Library will host a series of engaging events for faculty, kicking off with a keynote discussion panel on the past, present and future of OER at Valencia on Monday, March 6 at 1:30 PM. We will also feature a drop-in Discovery Lab to assist faculty in finding new ways to use OER, and a live workshop on OER tools that you can employ in your own instruction. If youโ€™re interested in pursuing more professional development opportunities in open education, weโ€™ll even have a session that explains some options you can consider here at Valencia or externally.
๐Ÿ“š
Be sure to stop by your campus library to share your thoughts on what OER means to you in our interactive Padlet exhibit, and send your students as well!
๐Ÿ“š
A full schedule of offerings can be found on our Open Education Week LibGuide at libguides.valenciacollege.edu/openedweek2023/home.
