🌞 Happy Summer, Mill Street Families! 🌞

As another wonderful school year comes to an end, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our families for trusting us with your children each day. It has been a joy to watch them learn, grow, and create memories throughout the year.

We hope your summer is filled with fun, laughter, adventure, and time spent with loved ones. Thank you for being such an important part of our school family.

Please join us in celebrating Mill Street School’s Student of the Month, Maryam Aldabashi, who was recognized at the May 21, 2026 Board Meeting! 🌟

Maryam was recognized by Mr. Rutledge for exemplifying community pride, belonging, and a strong shared identity on campus. She is always striving to grow and challenge herself, including learning different languages to better connect with others and expand her knowledge.

We are proud of Maryam for being such a positive example of curiosity, kindness, and determination. Congratulations, Maryam! 👏💙

Join us this Thursday for our First Annual Last Day of School Lemonade Stand! We will be located outside of the TK wing at 12:30 pm (pickup time). Both cash & card (tap/Apple Pay) will be accepted!

🌾🐝 Farm Day at Mill Street Elementary! 🐷🌱

Our 1st and 2nd graders had an unforgettable Farm Day experience! Students enjoyed a hands on visit with baby pigs, baby bunnies, a baby goat, and adorable chicks with Lacey Atkin petting zoo. There were so many smiles (and happy squeals)!

A huge thank you to the Honeybee Discovery Center for sharing fascinating knowledge about bees and the important role they play in our world. We also appreciate Christine Kampmann with 4-H for leading a fun plant demonstration and teaching our students about growing and caring for plants.

What a fun and educational day connecting our students to agriculture, animals, and nature! 🌻💛

As our week comes to an end we would like to thank the heart of our school💙Teachers/Staff thank you for the patience, passion, and love you pour into your classrooms every single day. You inspire, encourage, and shape the future in ways that go far beyond lessons and textbooks. We are so grateful for all that you do — this week and always.

A huge thank you to our amazing Mill Street School Parent Club for spoiling our staff with such delicious food! Your generosity and thoughtfulness truly made us feel appreciated. We are so grateful for your continued support and kindness!
