Join in the America250 celebration at the Veterans Liberty Run & Walk on Friday, July 3 at Centennial Park.

Registration includes a commemorative race shirt, post-race refreshments, entry for raffle prizes and one free admission to the Centennial Park Aquatic Center on July 5, 6, 7 or 8. Awards to overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in age groups 9U - 70+.

As part of the Village’s ongoing commitment to enhancing parks and recreational opportunities, staff evaluated the potential addition of a half basketball court at Eagle Ridge III Park in 2026. Community input was a key component of the evaluation process.

The engagement process provided valuable insight into both neighborhood impacts and community recreation interests, helping inform future discussions regarding potential improvements at Eagle Ridge III Park.

Are You Ready for It?! On Friday, June 12, Centennial Park West (15609 Park Station Blvd.) transforms into your very own Eras Tour-inspired evening with an acoustic set by Burning Red, the Unofficial Taylor Swift Tribute Band, from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at our first FREE Concert in the Park featuring the Young Entrepreneur Fair.

Before you "shake it off" and dance with us, explore more than 60 booths where talented young makers will sell a variety of handmade jewelry, baked goods, art, 3D figurines, toys and more. Come hungry! A selection of local food vendors will also be onsite serving tasty food and refreshments.

This beloved r***e will have you crying tears of laughter as the five sisters stage a zany variety show fundraiser. Fee includes ticket price and transportation to Drury Lane Theatre. Due to the forecast for severe thunderstorms, large hail, strong winds and potentially hazardous weather conditions on Thursday, June 11, the Concert in the Park featuring BURNING RED: The Unofficial Tribute to Taylor Swift and the Young Entrepreneur Fair has been rescheduled to Friday, June 12 from 5 – 8 p.m. The safety of our vendors, staff and attendees is our highest priority. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you all on Friday night!

Join us at the ribbon cutting celebration for the Schussler Park all-inclusive playground on Monday, June 22 at 12 p.m. This new playground will allow children of all abilities to play, learn, interact and grow. The celebration will include free Rainbow Cone ice cream and hot dogs by Joey’s Red Hots. Also, two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time Walter Cup champion Kendall Coyne Schofield and Super Bowl champion Michael Schofield will be in attendance for this special celebration marking the completion of Schussler Park Phase II.
