As of Noon on 6/14, a power line has snapped in the area of Walmart and they are now closed, due to no power. We will update when they re-open.

Verify:
Call Village Hall at 708-349-6666 to check contractor registration.
Compare:
Get multiple written estimates from trusted local companies.
Insure:
Contact your insurance provider before authorizing major work.

🤝 Check Your Neighbors
Please visit or call elderly neighbors, friends, and family who may lack power or internet access. Ensure they have updates, resources, and are aware of these scams.

📞 How to Report Scams
Local Police: Report suspicious door-to-door activity to the Orland Hills Police Department non-emergency line at 708-349-4434.
State Fraud:
File an online consumer complaint with the Illinois Attorney General.
Federal Fraud: Report scams online via the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
